Thanks! I'm really looking forward to sharing this one. It felt good to write it, I got to work with some really good people, and now I get to publish it!

I know what you mean, the effort it takes to be skeptical of every image I see makes it harder to enjoy it.

It's so exhausting to stay vigilant against this sort of thing.

Through the Lens of Gratitude is set in a small town just north of Colorado's Great Sand Dunes. The town is home to the legendary Harmony Coffee. Harmony Coffee serves park rangers, campers, RV vacationers, UFO watchers, and several book clubs. They all answered: what are you thankful for?

I mailed out three replacement cards to you a week ago. I will get those postcards to you, even if I have to send them Next-Day Air with a signature requirement.

(Also, these postcards reached everyone else, including subscribers in two different European countries, so they do get delivered!)

I didn't know there was a video game. We'll have to talk about Harlan Ellison's episode, and if it was good.

A lot of my sense of humor can be traced back to "my grandmother lives in a condominium."

Do you like "Little Birdie" from the Thanksgiving special?

I found a Scholastic book called Two-Minute Mysteries. It was published in the 1990s. Here is a copy of my edition on eBay: www.ebay.com/itm/27643097...

I think that even in the 1990s, a kid probably wouldn't know the operation of Pullman train cars, which is the key to more than one story.

I've been reading Donald J. Sobol this year. In addition to Encyclopedia Brown, he wrote a newspaper column of "two-minute mysteries" for a long time. Some of the solutions are very obscure by today's standards.
