The title of this report says it all - let's hope government acts on its recommendations to protect women in music

Misogyny in music: on repeat includes evidence from ISM CEO Deborah Annetts and restates recommendations given to the previous government in Jan 2024 👇

Thank you to every single person who signed the Times letter coordinated by @ism-music.bsky.social. Government must stand by its commitment to support arts in schools
Creative subjects are disappearing from our schools because of the EBacc. The Curriculum and Assessment Review must not miss the opportunity to give every child access to music and arts education.

Read our open letter in today's Times, signed by 700+ people 👇

It was so moving to hear young people share how much arts subjects mean to them at the launch of #TheArtsAndMindsCampaign today. Glad to be there in support.
We're delighted to be supporting the launch of the Arts and Minds Campaign today at Tate Modern.

All children should have the right to study and enjoy the arts. We must put creativity back at the heart of our curriculum #TheArtsAndMindsCampaign
