not as a whole, but i keep seeing things that make me want to leave the fandom. Nasty comments about my friends BBU OCs, people blocking eachother and cancelling eachother, and a general state of bullying. I’m sure it’s uncommon, but I’ve seen it a couple times in the past few months.

And I agree about not ignoring sexual orientation, as I am Ace myself. my friend responded with an explanation that the ship takes place in his personal AU, so it makes it slightly more digestible that he isn’t applying this ship to cannon Billie.

update: he defended himself, explaining how his OC and Billie met when they were both kids and didnt fall in love until they were both adults, and one of the guys BLOCKED HIM. Apparently he had a problem with the ship because Billie is aroace 🤷♀️ but like that’s not a good reason to attack someone

its Nothing too bad, it’s just that my friend was yelled at literally just for shipping billie with his OC 💀 literally two people commented and said it was a bad ship 😞
