Oh so people should walk 10+ miles to work and back because public transit sucks. Nothing wrong with walking but that's not an option when your commute is long and you have to piecemeal 3 or 4 transfers across 2 different transit systems and take 2 hours. Density has nothing to do with it.

Yea, no cars anywhere. How realistic is that in the United States when we have nothing remotely close to Japan's public transit system. Banning cars without building out public transit is dysfunctional IMO.
