Thank you for the reply! I think I was reacting to this line from the rules webpage: "Works that are wholly written using generative large language model (LLM) tools are not eligible." If I missed other context, I apologize! (And again, I really enjoyed your books and appreciate your work!)

The rules only state that works "wholly written" by LLM are ineligible. That seems to leave a lot of wiggle room. (I love your books, BTW!)

I've spent the last three months writing my first novel. The words come from me, not LLMs. I can't imagine celebrating anything else.

People forget that the biggest Star Wars news in October 2012 prior to the Disney announcement was . . . Angry Birds Star Wars. That's what we we supposed to be looking forward to! (The game was fine.)
