I mean you’re referring to the Kingdom of France which no longer exists. It should be noted that the main reason they helped was to weaken Britain, not necessarily because they sympathized with us. The French king during that time would later be killed during a revolution against him

It’s amazing how many people take this as some kind of justification despite you clearly saying that Trump had no authority to do this. Nobody is a saint in this scenario, but it also shouldn’t have happened. It’s not that hard to understand

Maybe it all just went over my head but I never got the hype. I felt the franchise took off was because 3D movies became a gimmick at the same time, propelling the first movie to a status it otherwise wouldn’t have

I think it’s fair to say that the US was founded under some Christian beliefs, but the founders also clearly recognized that we are not a one-faith country. The reason many came to the new world to begin with was religious persecution so it would be rather hypocritical to be so strict about it

Telling a large group of people to take mass action against someone is also targeted. I’m not necessarily in disagreement with reporting them given the context, but why not just report them?

Definitely felt that when Destiny transitioned to Destiny 2. I enjoyed Forsaken but beyond that felt like a chore. I’ve missed so much that even the new cool stuff just doesn’t seem to appeal to me

I think Knives Out is still the best, but I did enjoy this more than Glass Onion. My only issue was that I didn’t feel the characters were as well-defined as in the previous two. Maybe one or two fewer characters would have given more time to flesh them out some more

I’d rather she stay in congress. One less old geezer in a seat is important for lawmaking and critical votes. The presidency is nice and all but exec orders only go so far (unless you’re Trump apparently)

I mean you can credit someone and acknowledge whatever horrible things they did at the same time. I would have just said “this person did this thing but has since been banned for XYZ” or something.
