There won't be a single motor $45k model anytime s00n, is my guess. Launch Edition will be dual whatever the max battery will be, and likely be $60-70k. Maybe it has a performance and included connect+ Followed by a Tri that'll be closer to $75-80k . Then Standard dual at ~$55k before options

This space would only be there on the R1T, which they sell significantly less of than R1S, a max+ pack wouldn't be cost effective. And that space is for the great tunnel. Now if the R1S just used the wheelbase as the T, that could've made sense.

My hope.. It's where the cameras will live, making the windshield significantly less expensive to replace. Maybe LiDar in the future as the cost and supply chain has improved.
