Nearly eight minutes after launch, the booster autonomously returned to the landing pad for a soft touch down. A short time after that, the capsule also safely returned to planet Earth under three healthy parachutes.

Blue Origin has launched its New Shepard rocket at 8:40am CDT / 13:40 UTC from its Launch Site One in West Texas. The NS-36 mission is the company’s 15th crewed flight, and sent six passengers to suborbital space just past the Kármán Line.
