The economy and food prices have been absolutely insane, especially if you try to eat out. The one good side effect of this, has been the dramatic increase in my cooking skills. I can now pull off some recipes that 5 years ago I never would have even attempted.

I don't buy Transformers, well ever, but I absolutely need this in my life. Soundwave is still the coolest Transformer.

Silksong coming out has inspired me to FINALLY play Hollow Knight. I think I had avoided it because I was worried the difficulty would frustrate me. However so far after a few hours that hasn't been the case.

The new Naked Gun movie is great. Watching it was like seeing an old friend again. Really hope we get another and people take the right lesson from this. Which is how to make a proper good parody movie. Not just shovel out half assed gross ones like last time.

I thought it was going to be more. I may get it eventually at this price point. Though I never got the 2600 and NES sets and I really wanted them.

Waking up on a weekend where Hangman is redeemed and there is a perfect Superman movie is pretty great. Sure the world is still pretty shit right now. But it's nice to be able to forget it for a few hours.

We made Oysters Rockefeller and Linguine with clams for the first time tonight. Felt like we were eating in a nice restaurant. I'm really proud of the way our cooking skills have developed the last couple of years. It's the only way we would be able to afford to eat food this good!
