Sometimes, especially in different social media groups/forums, you will see the third group “code switch” depending on who they’re talking to. They will try to be very empathetic and rational sounding to the 1st group. But among other AV they let the mask drop.

I’m not sure why you feel the need to be so confrontational. My point was always frustration about people abusing the medical exemption system. We seem to actually have a lot in common just based on posts, but seems like maybe you have something going on. Hope your day gets better.

So do you not think that a vaccine medical exemption should need to have a justified medical rationale, from a licensed medical provider, supported by documentation (ie not the medical exemptions people were paying $50 a pop for during COVID?). That is my argument here.

I’m saying probably 90% of medical exemption claims are not valid and it makes me mad that they take advantage of it.
Obviously I’m familiar with legit ones. My sister had to skip live vaccines while on chemo as a kid. But as neutropenic she relied on everyone else’s immunity

I worked in a hospital medical staff office where we require physicians get the flu vaxx for obvious reasons. We had an entire practice of radiologists write each other medical exemptions saying every one of them had a history of Guillain Barré. It was complete bullshit & everyone knew it

Agree but there are very limited actual situations where vaccinations are not recommended. I’ve seen so many AV exploit the opt out and completely make shit up. We don’t have to excuse them using medical or religious opt outs as a workaround, which then makes the whole system break down

If by the “Dearborn folks” you mean Muslim Americans, then yes, they had a reason to be “vocal”. Many had family that had been slaughtered.

Those tablets are specifically NOT for people with Celiac. There is a huge difference between what is safe for someone with gluten intolerance versus someone with Celiac Disease. This was recently confirmed to me by my kids’ Pediatric GI who specializes in Celiac.

I think one of the biggest gender divide issues (outside of abject misogyny) is division of labor in couples. This holds especially true for couples with kids. I think that has to be a huge driver of divorce. Women want a partner, not a (man)child to manage.
