It's also muscle season. (Photo: nice man on NHS website).

I do a combo of reducing inflammation through diet and healing meditation, keeping muscles warm, gentle stretches, keeping moving while I laze around and watch TV...

How do you switch from classical to jazz singing?

There is an element of vocal technique, and also learning how to change a simple melody (like we would add trills or double dots in Baroque music). I find singing jazz is relaxing, freeing and helps improve my classical work.

It's a bit quiet at this time of year, ecologically, but have enjoyed the young Peregrines crying, busy nest of House Martins, Green Woodpecker, and some large Herons which are rather magnificent when they fly, to rival any Buzzard.

We've been watching Freezing Embrace and I have been fantasising about rolling around in the snow. It is highly likely in 6 months' time I will be watching videos of the summer, fantasising about warm weather and songbirds.

I've had a lovely time at Exile Festival. It's wonderful to be with supportive friends who help you open up, relax and express yourself.

We're now en route to rehearsal for our fabulous rhythmic choir concert, with solos and cream tea, in West Bridgford, Nottingham x

Had my first normal time out of the house in days doing some colouring for pride in Matlock. A wonderful reason to be out of the house and all coming together for a loving cause.

Love and peace to all
