So we're all doing this again?
Have you seen Jet Lag at all? Whenever German trains are late they say they're getting "Deutsche Bahned". 😆

Spring happens late up north, but it DOES happen.

Always remember:

The Vulcan shaking hands with Cochrane is Solkar, and is canonically Spock's great grandfather.
Since Vulcans' hands are erogenous zones, him shaking hands with Cochrane is... progressive of him.

Spock's family: Down bad for humans since they first encountered them.

Anaïs Mitchell already said it better than I could.

It's so rare that social media and the internet work well... this is kinda beautiful, tbh.

Also, the showrunners understood the assignment.

I went to a holiday market here in town, and a nice lady was selling ornaments made from sea glass. I asked her where she got the glass from. "Larne, in Northern Ireland!"
So to all my Irish mutuals, I now have a bit of Ireland on my tree.

If I could recommend one game this year, it would be Against the Storm.
Check it out if you like base builder games, especially the early game. The rogue-like elements make it RIDICULOUSLY re-playable.

@eremitegames.bsky.social has made the best city builder I've ever played.

And it's gorgeous!

Dropout is the absolute GOAT for releasing their Jet Lag episode of Dirty Laundry today, the day we need it most.

Oh 100%
Any time I take a picture of a dog, this is the desired outcome.

I rewatched this recently and it's great.
Lots of good horror cred in this episode. As well as Donald Pleasence, it also has Julie Harris, who starred in the original The Haunting Of Hill House adaptation 'The Haunting'.

For me it's Broadchurch and Blackpool. You want to watch a police show about a murder, set in a British seaside town whose name starts with B? One that stars David Tennant as the out- of- town detective working to solve the case?
Only meaning difference is that I feel happy after watching Blackpool.

So sad to hear about Maggie Smith. Her acting in The Secret Garden was one of my childhood favorites.
