Wisconsin is a 50/50 state and we only have 2 Dems out of 8 seats.

I do agree that Dems need to fight back in this way to force the issue though.

Law should be lowest-perimeter map wins. Anyone can submit a map.

The people deserve districts that make geographical sense: “if you live north of hw x and east of interstate y then you are in district z.”

One of many things that should be left to math.

Realizing now that Millennials are actually “due” their Reagan at this exact moment.

If the GOP dies the way the Dems did in the 80s then I’ll be satisfied regardless of who our “Reagan” is.

Reagan was from the Boomers’ parents’ generation. So if Millennials get a “Reagan” they’ll be from our parents’ generation and presumably a minor celebrity heavily associated with the 90s (Diedrich Bader?).

Our “Trump” will be a Millennial YouTuber and if we’re lucky it’ll be MatPat.

I’m 36 and can affirm that my yearning for pre-9/11 America (or the phantasm my mind has conjured of it) is reaching concerning heights.

Massively pro-multiculturalism.
Massively pro-education.
Massively pro-science/NASA/etc.

I ache for it all.

We need Trumpism to be disemboweled. Heads on spikes. Drawn and quartered. Racks. Brands. Iron maidens. (figuratively, of course)

There needs to be wailing and gnashing of teeth. These people need to be in bandages and chains like a pack of Jacob Marleys moaning at people to avoid their fate.

I mean both parties have been giving lip service to “small business” in their campaigns my whole life.

And a lot of people conflate a dichotomy with “big business = bad” so therefore “small business = good”.

When people picture a “small business” they think of their favorite local restaurant or bakery, and ignore the army of MLM hucksters in their community.
