The thing that irritates me to no end is how many liberals will respond to every authoritarian escalation with "this is just another attempt to distract us, release the Epstein Files!" That's completely backwards. At this point, the Files are the distraction from all his even worse crimes.

Metaphorically speaking of course, the correct course of action when they go low is to stomp on them and smash them into the dirt.

One less voice spewing vile hatred, even from a platform as large as Kirk's, will make little difference in our current political climate. But his death will make a huge difference to his bereaved family. They did not deserve this. Nobody deserves to lose someone they love to senseless violence. 🧵

And while today much has changed and I no longer see much of anything to admire in the likes of Charlie Kirk, I still see a human being. I see a husband and a father; I see a family torn apart by a futile act of violence.
