Old notepad.exe still exists and you can get rid of new Notepad! However I am quoting this post from my new Linux daily.
Look what they did to Notepad. Shut the fuck up. This is Notepad. You are not welcome here. Oh yeah "Let me use Copilot for Notepad". "I'm going to sign into my account for Notepad". What the fuck are you talking about. It's Notepad.

Since I work in the industry, I'm one of the lucky ones who can simply switch to Linux this year. Looking forward to my new Windows 11 VM where all the poor industry decisions can live!

Went to IKEA with the wife and ordered the $1 veg dog. NONE of the photos of the IKEA dogs online or in the store reflect the actual size of this product. If IKEA told me I could pay $1 for a hotdog the size of a ballpoint pen, I would have still done it. They didn't have to lie like that.

If anyone else is unhappy with Synology's recent disk model restrictions, my first impressions of QNAP's NAS products are pretty positive. Physical design of the QNAP in this photo is more feature-rich than a similarly-priced Synology product. QTS, however, is going to take some getting used to.

If a car has big screens instead of buttons and an instrument cluster, it is a huge piece of junk. I have fixed too many broken screens in one lifetime. I am willing to die on this hill.

I hope that when industry compliance evaluators read one of my submitted forms, that they can sense my hostility and spite at having to suffer a tortuous application process.

Coworkers and I wonder if Microsoft's recent massive layoffs suggest they're just vibecoding Windows 11.

U.S. Government websites are sunsetting IPv4 features. Although planned in 2020, I am now seeing live case examples where IPv6 is required for normal app functionality.

Microsoft can't take a hint:
"We’re removing the bypassnro.cmd script from the build to enhance security and user experience of Windows 11. This change ensures that all users exit setup with internet connectivity and a Microsoft Account."

I'm having a great time using the Session app. There are some pros and cons compared to Signal (read their docs). Some users described Session as difficult to use, but this seems to have been fixed:

Session | Send Messages, Not Metadata. | Private Messenger
Session is a private messenger that aims to remove any chance of metadata collection by routing all messages through an onion routing network.
