Thank you, that's really kind of you to say! It really is and I went back and forth with different versions of it. There's a fine balance between the read of the materials and the control of contrast and colour to not throw off the rest of the painting

Yes! I use this all the time too. A new one I picked up this week was

Ctrl + backspace - deletes the word to the left

Ctrl + Del - delete the word to the right

I usually select text with ctrl + shift + arrow key as in your example then delete but this skips a few clicks
