Tesla's earnings call had a much different vibe than usual.

The company clearly recognizes it's got a problem. They think it's short-term. We'll see.

One thing to keep in mind: The Tesla backlash wasn't in full swing in Q1's first half. So we may see ugly numbers in Q2.

Comes a few months after their merger died.

FWIW, I'm not surprised the Academy didn't award "The Wild Robot" the Oscar. Asking Academy members who are concerned about AI to embrace a film that asks you to sympathize with a robot ... wasn't great timing.
