It is a little difficult to see in the current photo because of the carport addition and the beautiful shade tree that now grows there, but this home near Peterson Ave. on San Antonio’s southwest side was used for a scene in “The Sugarland Express.”

The scene at the drive-in theater in THE SUGARLAND EXPRESS was shot at the old Loop 13 Drive-in, which was located on SW Military and Kyle in San Antonio. A Wendy's was built on the spot where the screen once stood.
