I deeply appreciate the legislative folks who are using whatever power they have to do anything, but my feeling right now is that getting people more comfortable protesting and publicly dissenting is going to be more effective than any of the branches of gov for the next 18 months.

Sorry I don't mean to imply my hypothetical is more likely than your hypothetical, only that they're both just that - hypotheticals.
This isn't a popularity contest, the events are a means to get people organized and directly connected with local leaders. These aren't election rallies.

There wasn't a remaining 10 to get. Thats tens of thousands of converted voters. If they go to a Dark Red FL district, pull a few thousand people to an event and the district goes heavily red still, now everyone has a new way to complain about how they're wasting their time and resources.

These rallies are all about building public support/community and getting people comfortable participating in large political rally/protest environments. There are next to no elections that give meaningful oversight of the executive for 18 months, the elections aren't a big talking point here.
