My retired farmer stepfather had a FARM VEHICLE plate on his Polaris side-by-side, and he would drive it on bigger country roads to go to grocery store. Years later some more legally-minded folks took a look at it and said "that's not a thing; that plate doesn't entitle you to...anything"
