I’d just say it’s not at all surprising that the idea of one state shared with their oppressors/genociders has very little support. That doesn’t mean it’s not a viable option though - just one that doesn’t feel realistic while we’re still in the middle of a genocide.

Could we not then apply that 8,900 to the 186,000 the Lancet said (over a year ago) could be the true death toll? Meaning less than 5% of the dead are likely Hamas? Of course that was when there were only 38,000 killed vs 53,000 at the time of this report, so 5% is generous.
