Still my favourite maths joke. 🤓

Kraftwerk very kool. Never understood the fascination with Meat Loaf. But hey, personal preferences. Each to their own.

Almost to the point where you can't trust anything on the internet as genuine anymore. You've got to verify everything you see, and to be honest, most people don't take the time. #AISlop #NoAI

Just purchased the Shattering Peace by @scalzi.com #SciFi #Booksky Is it weird that after a few years of reading ebooks, I'm now back to old school hardback and paperback books in preference? Writing SciFi myself, I feel I should be more progressive but give me a book over a screen any day.

News media 40 years ago used to post 3 positive stories for every 1 negative story, now with the advent of social media, the published news stories are now 1 positive story for every 20 negative stories. Pretty sure the world hasn't changed that much, just the way we report it. #News #Hope

Okay #Apple people. Why are Photos not held on the file system, but isolated under its own app? The more I use iPad, the less I understand the thinking behind it. The Files app doesn’t give you all the files. Everything is siloed. Nothing about this machine is intuitive or joined up.

Okay, one for the prolific book readers out there who have more than one book on the go at the same time... A new set of #SciFi bookmarks. #Booksky Works for me. 🤓

I'll see your X-wing, and raise you a Star Fury.

I love an aircraft museum. Duxford is one of the best. Took my son there yesterday and was treated to our own personal aerobatic display by one of the most beautiful planes to ever grace the skies. With the sound and poise of a lioness... The Spitfire

Name an awesome movie that needs no sequel. A perfect stand-alone. On my list' Edge of Tomorrow. #SciFi #Movies

Travelling East/West through London? River boats are the way to do it. Very cool. #LivingInLondon

After 3 movies and multiple redesigns, the 1982 Syd Mead TRON light cycle, with enclosed rider position…. Still the best. #SciFi #Movies #Art Now trying to think of a movie, where the redesign of vehicles or ships for the sequels ended up being better than the original… Nothing yet. Still nothing.

Bit of a bad karma day today. Alienware laptop, just days out of warranty, corrupts the drive and fries the screen. I clearly must have crossed the streams last week. Karma balance now restored. Still, lesson learnt. Next laptop will be min spec enough, cheap and easily replaceable. #LessonsInKarma

TRON original is still the best? Yes/No

Well... Thanks. But, gonna watch it anyway. Light cycles are still cool.

Too late.

This one caught me when I was young and has never really left me. Space Raiders by Patrick Moore, cover by Peter Elson. Not the best SciFi read and has dated, but it put me onto Elson's work who became a favourite very quickly.

Battle Star Trek Wars Gate! Nice. #SciFi #Art Tsneo Sanda.

I really enjoy playing #WorldOfWarships, so thought I'd try my hand at #WorldOfWarplanes. Got all excited, but... Crashes every time I press 'Battle'. Tried all the fixes, the only one that worked was the Uninstall button. Knock a few more bugs out of it #Wargaming.net, and maybe I'll try again.
