very slow week for me, unfortunately... i'm taking flip 7 to a family gathering this weekend but i haven't tried it yet. what are your thoughts on the cmyk magenta games? i'm considering them for some friends of mine who are visual artists and sometime-gamers

unfortunately this is fake news (no pretzels in the Oh Henry! Level Up) BUT i am still very pleased to learn that there is such a thing which is called "oh henry! level up" and it definitely looks reese's-y so i get the confusion

my game groups were either busy or i couldn't get to them because of bad weather, so just solo stuff--irish freedom, endurance, and witchcraft! ... solo gaming is new to me and i still don't love it, but that is definitely not the fault of these designs

dropolter, wilmot's warehouse, and arcs--i do really enjoy sharing the light/silly stuff! but so far all of my arcs games have involved teaching new players and i'm really itching to play my first campaign

speaking as a white person, my mom asked what "woke" meant and i was like ... remember political correctness? it's like that but now some people are mad they can't say slurs. and it's "woke" if they want to say the slurs about it but can't. (still my best guess.)

you should definitely try that's not a hat! everyone at the table was laughing the whole time, it's a very "feel good" game and surprisingly challenging--but in a way that my 8yo niece will find the same degree of challenge as 40yo me. tbh she could easily be better! and i love that.

just new (to me) games this week: played bowie (on your recommendation! great call there); that's not a hat i'm excited to play with my family over thanksgiving; but also i finally tried arcs and (for right now) it's all i want to play ever again 😂…
