Thanks in part to cancer research funded by the CCS, it is much more treatable today, and I had excellent odds of remission. I am now 10 years cancer free! What better way to support cancer research than by participating every day in my favorite hobby.

I am an avid knitter and a cancer survivor. The Canadian Cancer Society provided support and programs to me while I went through chemo. The cancer I had, a type of Non-hodgkin Lymphoma already in stage 4 by the time I was diagnosed, would likely have been a death sentence 50 years ago.
