Just start with a liter and then coast on that high until bedtime. Looking at Finland though i feel like us Scandinavians are just trying to keep up with the coffee goat and not put shame on the Nordics

I feel that so hard. Someone i met was "leaf dude" for ages before i managed to learn their name. I have no idea what they actually look like and yet I'm going to their wedding. I consider these people close friends but in my head they are represented by their pfp.

Oh cool. I do love the whole WW2 mystic setting. Cant go wrong with rl+fantasy imo.
If you want to keep a more Norwegian vibe the letters with umlauts are Swedish letters while we use æ ø and å. Not trying to yuck your yum or nothing tho, just something i figured I'd mention.

As a Norwegian curious about why people pick stuff from our area, what was your inspiration for the place name and setting it to Norway?

Finland and Iceland are not Scandinavian. Scandinavia is in the Nordics but not the same definition.

Oh right, yous guys use gas. We are fully electrical so to me it was the same thing. I have never used gas for heating or cooking. Our grid gets less to handle with more heat pump usage. My heat pump never went above 500w of power usage while my heaters would have used more and often not been enough

Sure but if you spend X amount on heating and you have a technology that is more efficient your insulation is a separate issue.
E.g. I use 1000w to heat my home and you have to use 2000w for a similar home. If the new tech is 50% better i will use 500w and you 1000w but we both save money.

Finland and Norway don't really have proper sun during winter but both are countries with the most heat pumps per capita. It was -2 yesterday and i spent about 9kwh in 24 hours on my heat pump to warm up my first story vs the 2.3kw or more per hour for a normal heater.

Ive seen a few tax forms and medical insurance things from Americans over the years online. From the looks of things they pay about the same as us as a % of salary.
