What grappling taught me about b2b sales.

Nothing.

But good to keep moving, competing and be supported in individual competition by a team.

I'm not too old for this...

Attended an event at the offices of a large software provider.

People struggled with live demos of their ‘market leading tool’ as it was too unreliable.

Said tool will likely cost the taxpayer billions of pounds per annum.

Nice lighting though.

My wife texted me - 'I'm in the shop. I'll pick you up some chocolate and Ibuprofen'.

She truly knows me.

Busy but good day.

Talking about Service Design plus AI risk chat at a conference.

Now opening a window, sitting down and reading a book to take the edge off coffee and nerves.

We drive
a forest fire in the distance

Resting bodies moved in joy, cut, bruised
warmed through late light glass.

Then,
the moon massive on the horizon,
takes less space as we cut across valleys

Wood smoke made memory.

Cycling to Cardiff from the valleys with my kid.

Great travelling along route 47 and The Taff trail.

Asked the kid if he saw the importance of cycle infrastructure.

He said: ‘Yes. Because all the fucking cars.’

He’s not wrong.
