Santa Cruz is Proudly Showing Pride!
The Santa Cruz County Building, Santa Cruz City Hall, Town Clock, Civic Auditorium, Santa Cruz Parks and Recreation Building and Abbott Lighthouse are all lit up. They will be lit through the end of June.

Thick fog was moving in quick, but we still had a really nice panoramic sunset this evening! The first photo shows the sunset above the fog.

Last evening as the Giant Dipper was about to be swallowed by a thick wall of fog. 20 minutes after I took this, I couldn’t even see the lights of the Boardwalk from a very cold Santa Cruz Wharf!

Marcella

Marcella is a 26’ Monterey Clipper fishing boat built in 1918. After a complete refurbishment, it’s been on display at the Santa Cruz Wharf since 1995.

Today, the now famous wharf bathroom turned life boat to 2 very lucky construction workers that went for the ride of their life’s on, was torn down and removed from the mouth of the San Lorenzo River. And not good news for the reopening of the undamaged portion of the wharf, it’ll be weeks at best
