Blindly posting “general strike!” whenever something bad happens is not useful. If however a local (or national…) labor council called for a mass sick out on a certain day, say May 1, and got all their members to commit, that could actually be something.

I have a union brother who goes to that hospital. He voted for krasnov and still supports their coup. He’s fine with the mass firing of workers, purging departments and installing loyalists, cutting programs that help the most vulnerable. The disconnect and cruelty is infuriatingly mind boggling.

It was truly Orwellian. He also proceeded to eDuCaTe me how government is broken and useless then admitted he’s buying a house with the help of a VA home loan and sends his kids to public school for an actual education.

Argued with veteran/coworker/union brother/krasnov voter about VA benefits last night; the delusion runs deep. He said both his benefits would not be cut and his doctor may soon lose their job. Will he recognize he was lied to when it becomes too obvious to ignore?

I’m not certain when all this fuckery began. But January 21, 2010 was one of the darkest days for American democracy.
