Nat is in the valley of the shadow of death
@natlaowai.bsky.social
Originally from greater Los Angeles, lived in China 15 years, now in the San Joaquin Valley. White grey ace cishet, he/him. Religion, politics, depression, classical music.
I guess it depends if you meant it’s true, no irony, that you’d wear it (accurate) or that you would wear it while expressing no irony (probably a phony baloney statement).

Research in the same sense as “I did my own research”, I guess.

Someone needs to tell them “Merry Christmas, ya filthy animals.”

At least where I am now it does. When I had good public transport, that was in China where political will does not come from the people. It’d be great if we had the political will here to counter car dependence, and maybe one day we will. But I don’t see it today.

The people.

My case is interesting because I’ve lived both. I grew up car dependent. I later moved to an area where I lived without a car for fifteen years and I liked it. I’m now back to car dependency. I’d like not to be, but this area has no political will to change it.

Hell I live in a very car-dependent area and we have no problem with our kids taking a school bus.

I thought I heard that. I’m not using them now, though the ones I am using are from big corporations and maybe not a whole ton better.

Unfortunately I’m worried it’s going to be announcing a “Special Military Operation” in Venezuela.

I have a picture of myself as a millionaire there. I was holding up two 500,000 notes.

I’ll grant that may not be a major currency, but it’s still a fun fact.

Haha try Vietnamese dong if you really want fun. 26,000 to one greenback.

$2.25. Didn’t realize how much the yen had depreciated.
