I've actually been working on it shortly after I left the SAMMI team, as I had so much I wanted to do for SAMMI but ultimately things kept getting in the way.

Saw a lot of friends in the Sammi discord banned live for voicing their opinions and applying pressure. I will be continuing to use a legacy version of Sammi without the update, but I will not be updating or recommending Sammi until further notice. If I manage to find time, I'll swap at some point.
Anyone using SAMMI may want to reconsider. The new lead Dev silently changed the policy to allow AI art to be used in official spaces again and when called out upon, told users to stop using SAMMI if they weren't happy about it.

Why am I so against generative AI in games?
Because I simply do not want my initial reaction to art to be one of suspicion and scrutiny, AI slop is fundamentally damaging my relationship to art and artistry, and I am deeply resentful that it is forcing me to be guarded when I should be wowed.

Not to be the fun police but I do hope people know that Arc Raiders does use generative AI for voice acting, and by supporting the game you're letting higher-ups know that this is an okay practice.
They try to downplay this on the Steam store page by describing the AI usage as vaguely as possible.
