In my city, we have burrowing owls in spring, summer, & fall. We also have prairie dogs, whose burrows provide shelter & nests for burrowing owls. The city council here has been gassing and killing prairie dogs, a keystone species. Is there anything that can be done to stop this horrific action? 🪶
