Not putting her last already seems like a hot take from what I read online but I can't find a solid explanation for this consensus. Locked in for every scene and felt like I was on the same wavelength for the themes and mechanics that the route offers for the greater story.

Routes:

Final > Tsugumi > Sora > You > Sara

None bad, it's a symptom of Tsugumi being a crazy strong start in plot and atmosphere while the others answer more questions (but not completely) while having less urgency. Hot take is that I'd put Sora higher with an ending par with Tsugumi

Overall the game is a worthwhile read despite these things which are much more inherent to the medium as a whole. Great music, great art (I'm too soulpilled™️), great characters. No, they never said what a "Clannad" is. Yes, it put tears in my eyes.

Getting all of the routes in the necessary order is also disorienting with how much some overlap only for the unique part to be a short ending, having to skip through the common route again and again takes you out of the immersion.

It's a coming of age going from senior year to making a living for yourself. There was an engaging balance between the main character's depressing attitude in school life because of how disabilities robbed him of normalcy, how to be content with that, and how to live for more.
