I've given up on Nintendo/The Pokémon Company going after the DHS either legally or even rebuking them very harshly. But they're suing Palworld over copying decades-old game mechanics! It hurts but I think I'm through ever supporting Pokémon or Nintendo in general for the foreseeable future.
"The Goddess of Spring" was a test to see if they were ready to make 'Snow White'; they put their all into it like they later put their all into "The Old Mill". It's as good a metric by which to judge the best Disney was capable of at the time as any we have.
It really is incredible to me that Fantasia's "Night on Bald Mountain" sequence is from 1940. (Character animation by Bill Tytla, effects animation by Daniel McManus.) Compare to the Hades stuff in "The Goddess of Spring" six years earlier and the progress made in that time is preposterous.
People have been asking Sora to generate YTPs and I feel like the crazy result they're getting kind of ruins the concept of random humor entirely, as a whole genre, because this truly is something that a computer can now apparently do on a more ridiculous level than a human could.
