I am who I am.
This episode has a villain who's voice actor did the Prophet of Truth from Halo...so I'm having fun.

Also, Sword Saint is a class from #Nat19 's 5.19th edition books; and our game takes place in their setting of Somnus Domina.
Jerry is specifically the Heavenbreaker subclass, which is based on TTGL. The fun part is that he knows that.
Highly recommend Nat19's stuff, their campaigns are epic stories

I also worked on his weapons quite a bit, both were custom made by a friend of his before he got isekai'd again. The Katana is Denko Ken, The Lightning Blade; and the wakazashi is Okami no Kiba, Wolf's Fang. There's a ton of symbology baked into the blades from his backstory and shows he liked.

He's a dumbass who means well and has a big appetite, loves swords and movies, and spent several months actually learning how to use his swords before getting transported to the game setting. He skirts the 4th wall constantly and confuses the other members of the party with his inane references.

Like, sure some of the lessons are a bit ham fisted at times, but 1) it's geared towards younger audiences 2) they're generally lessons that should be plainly stated 3) they're lessons that need to be plainly stated with today's abysmal media literacy rates.

Holy Shit, and a gun violence episode!? This show should be back on the air. Reboot it, only change needed is to replace land lines with cell phones in the show.

Happy New Year! Might as well throw my Sakura Petal Knight Kisandra in the running again!

NPC bard gave me a boost to meet a dex save for half damage. I then used shield master to take none. The DM rolled 101 damage with a lightning cage legendary action. I took none!

Lightning robot dragon appeared, Ko strolled out of the mist, cast a spell that doubled the size of his greatsword, and proceeded to non-nonchalantly Nat 20 with a level 4 smite on top of it. I rolled 16 different dice.

That was the opening of the final boss fight.

Just one-shot the other bandit. No smite. Just a single non-lethal greatsword attack.

He has an AC of 27 and an item that lets him cast shield, so he can get up to an AC of 32 up to 5 times a day. He also has adamantine armor so nobody can crit him.
He is one of three tanks in the party.

- Honestly a lot of the tracking stuff in the show was spot on, their tech-guy friend would actually be a believable person today
- A bit surprised they haven't tried to reboot/finish the story even in like, a comic form over the years.

- IDK if I should deride or praise Zeta's voice acting. It was very deadpan but he is a robot, so that's kinda the point
- Agent West is so incompetent he should have been knocked down to janitorial work halfway through the first season. He only gets worse.
