You miss the point...they still raised the price because they felt they could get away with it. I wouldn't be surprised if their next 'sure selling no matter what' game is gonna be $80 too.

Anything I can do to help bud?

Hard disagree on the $80 front. Just because someone else will go that route too doesn’t mean Nintendo didn’t start it. They knew Mario kart would sell regardless so they upped the price. Just how it goes. It’s not concern trolling. It’s worrying that prices for everything is rising.

Still introduced $80 games which I’m sure will happen more over time as costs rise.

Nintendo still owns a third of Pokemon. I’m sure they could say something if they want but again this is clearly about testing the waters.

They did introduce $80 games though and pokopia shows they’re clearly willing to release first party stuff on GKCs if they feel they can get away with it.

Yup, between this and the GKC fiasco its astounding how Nintendo wants to kill physical media and fair pricing faster than Sony/Microsoft do at this point.

The problem with "But you can sell it later" argument is if there is a market for them at all...which sales wise is showing there isn't much of one. Especially in the future when the servers go down and they become literally worthless.

sadly no, I'm seeing $45 at Gamestop for it though which is still a discount.
