If you're wondering how my S30 Pro testing is going. I literally got one good 10s expposure before clouds rolled in. Only about 10 mins from the start of this timelapse to completely cloudy.

You're going to see a lot of fake images of the Quarter Moon tonight but this is what a real quarter moon looks like!

Alt text explains this rare phenomenon.

This is comet 3I/ATLAS imaged from my Backyard early Saturday morning. The timelapse is about 150 mins worth of 60s exposures. It's moving FAST! I hit some branches but kept shooting until it came out the other side.

Perigee is on Friday!

I have an interstellar comet in view! This is almost directly over the City of Boston so the light pollution does not help but it's in the center and looks pretty cool.

Wonder if astrometry can identify it @kat-astro-bot.bsky.social

Guesses on this star cluster? It's a Messier object. Answer in the alt text.

I was looking through my archives, I apparently haven't imaged this in 4 years.

There's a tiny glob and a tiny galaxy here.

Shooting Orion through some tree branches. Wish Horizon files had a section for "hanging branches". Trapezium in the second screenshot looks great though.

Here's my take on the Rosette Nebula with 30 mins of data. Don't zoom in...left the burner on longer to get the colors out. Hoping to add more data soon.

Taken with a 91F and a protype IMX571 camera (not allowed to talk about that yet but will do on YT soon).

This is with VeraLux but my final product took a different take. I'll post that soon.

This is 30 mins of Rosette. Not nearly enough data to do much but I'm gonna try!

This is a simple target, one of my favorite visual targets. Double star system but it's actually 6 stars! Any guesses?

Didn't install my rotator on the scope but I think it still works. The soul nebula may get part of its head cut off during processing but it's a price I'm willing to pay.

From protype 45mm f/4.5 scope and a crop sensor astrocam.
