April 14, 1993: Chicago Bulls fan Don Calhoun attends his first Bulls game in three years and throws in a 75-foot shot that wins him $1,000,000.

Per Sports Illustrated, Calhoun was selected to shoot because a Bulls employee felt his “suede hiking boots wouldn’t scuff the court."

October 4, 1985: Rookie centers Patrick Ewing of the Knicks and the Bullets' Manute Bol make their NBA debuts in a preseason game at George Mason University—the inaugural game at the Patriot Center.

Bol had 6 BLK in Washington's 85-78 win over New York. Ewing had 10 PTS/15 REB.

September 25, 1997: The Seattle SuperSonics trade Shawn Kemp to the Cleveland Cavaliers, who send Terrell Brandon, Tyrone Hill and a first round pick in the 1998 NBA Draft to the Milwaukee Bucks. The Bucks trade Sherman Douglas to the Cavs and Vin Baker to the Sonics.
