Hey Bluesky people! I'm currently a PhD candidate at the University of Birmingham studying queer fiction by suffragist and socialist women authors in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. I also run the online project Queer Nineteen which I will transfer here too as soon as possible!
What they don't tell you when you start crocheting or knitting is that you will spend more time untangling yarn than working on an actual project.

Had a surprise blood test sprung on me today. The nurse said I had the veins of a dead person. I was very brave even though my blood did NOT want to leave my body.

Now that I'm done with work, I can finally start reading this 1300-page monstrosity I've been anticipating all year! Will I finish it before Christmas? Doubtful.
