She was the best rated player for the Thorns this match. I also think she's had a better season than she gets credit for. NWSL is not a forgiving league for goal keepers. Portland managing to finish 3rd on the table and make it to the semi finals is not a bad achievement.

This is true. But I think the WSL is the only international league that gets any sort of mainstream coverage here. The NWSL is on the same streaming service but it never gets a mention, even from the streaming service 😩

Aside from getting a fresh start at a new club, I think being at Chelsea and in the WSL will give Ellie the limelight a bit more.
