Even after this my parents still think the system is better than Medicare for all/single payer system. Their argument is wait times, while they simultaneously complain that they have to wait weeks or months for appointments. I hate it here

the second time I had cancer my employer sponsored healthcare denied everything, my oncologist had to appeal every single operation/drug etc. eventually I discovered the plan my employer had was the very bottom offered plan designed to be so bad and expensive that employees choose to drop it.
