I think it's more likely they're ours and we don't want to advertise that, a la Roswell. There are certainly holes in our defenses, but not to this level.

I'm pretty sure we peaked as a nation around D-Day. But the jury's still out on whether this era leads to another Civil War like the last Know Nothing era did. Many in the current GOP are certainly - and openly - pushing for one.

The three founding members of the Young Dubliners were all from Dublin. One left in 1998, one in 2019, and one remains with the band, the lead singer...who likes to point out that "The Fine Young Cannibals never fuckin' ate anybody." 😁
