The First Days of School and All Year Long via NCTM. Get to know your students. Become an advocate for mathematics. Take notes. Use email for parent contacts whenever possible. Keep seating charts handy. Take a leadership role in mathematics by offering support. Know your discipline/classroom management strategies. Make mathematics a priority within your classroom. Focus on what matters most.
