An interesting thing indeed considering I just got back from a conference they run on research integrity and peer review.

So @maclomaclee.bsky.social had a slide here saying that only 2 plenaries at this conference ID’d an issue, proposed intervention, randomized and preregistered.

Funny enough I am an author on both. Gotta walk the walk.

Yet another example of original authors being allowed to say anything they want in replies to critiques unconstrained by verifiable facts.

Reply states we didn’t consider things we explicitly did, and says the original article never said things it explicitly did.
