I had 12 years of photos with Chi and I wanted the same with this boy.

I was so excited for years more with him after all this work we did together to improve his health. I wanted so much more and I'm trying to make peace with what we got. we had almost 2 years together and that's something. I felt like i was just getting to know him in a lot of ways.

I wasn't ready to hold grief like this again so soon. I feel numb and small. My partner and friends are taking good care of me and I'm letting them.
