I think we can both agree that hate crimes are bad and that Jews shouldn't face antisemitic attacks, but I don't see how that justifies or is linked in any way to the violence inflicted by Israeli forces on Palestinian children.

The vast majority of Palestinians I talk to advocate for a single secular state, where people should be free to practice any (or no) religion.

Partition, with Jews having one state & Muslims/Christians having another has lead to 77 years of war.

The United Nations report on sexual violence committed by Israeli forces dated 22nd April 2025 details the evidence.

A report from Save the Children dated 10th July 2023 also documents sexual violence faced by Palestinian children in Israeli jails.

How many had their villages torched? How many families displaced to refugee camps? How many fled Palestine never to be allowed back by the Israeli occupation? How many Palestinian children have been raped or beaten in Israeli custody?

Zionism as a concept of a Jewish homeland isn't an issue, it's the reality that it's manifested into which is occupation, apartheid, and genocide

Should someone have a right to believe that God promised them an area of land inhabited by others and that they have a right to occupy that land and ethnically cleanse those who are not "God's chosen people"?

The pyramid with an eye on it appears on US bank notes so that's what I immediately thought of. The scene to me looks to represent capitalists playing a game, being held up by those they oppress. That's my first impression, so I could forgive anyone else coming to the same conclusion.

Corbyn was one of the first MPs to really push for LGBTQ+ rights, and you'd struggle to find many in parliament who have campaigned so hard for trans rights, so I can't really take that interpretation seriously.

I think you'd struggle to find a political party in the UK where none of their members had at some point expressed a view that could be interpreted as homophobic/transphobic.

Democracy is being rapidly eroded in the UK. Amnesty International, Save the Children, even the ICJ have declared that what is happening in Gaza could plausibly be called a genocide, but if you say it on the streets of Britain you face arrest under the terrorism act and up to 14 years in prison!
