Former NDTC Principal Dancer Melanie Graham, who later performed the role choreographed on Patsy Ricketts in Rex Nettleford’s 'Tribute to Cliff' (1974), returned to coach the next generation. In rehearsal, she worked with Kerry-Ann Henry and Shavaughn Byndloss, who will perform the duet excerpt.

Throwback to the original costumes worn by Sheila Barnett and Barbara Requa, who in 1984 revisited their seminal roles in Rex Nettleford’s Dialogue for Three (1963). This rare performance was presented in support of the Jamaica School of Dance, where both artists served as Founding Member.

What a week it has been! From a stand-alone soldout performance at the Frank Collymore Hall dedicated to our late Chairman Jeffrey “Jeff” Cobham, to honouring our co-founder Prof. Rex Nettleford with the ICON Award, the NDTC stood tall as one of Jamaica’s cultural ambassadors.
