I really thought I’d finish my art by Sunday, but rendering hit me out of nowhere 🫠
Lineart and pose went smoothly, and I’m actually proud of the hair (best I’ve done so far!)

Finally watched Hazbin Hotel S2. I’m a bit let down by how Alastor was handled. A year ago I saw fan theories full of cool hints and depth, and I hoped the show would explore something like that. The art and designs are still gorgeous, but the character writing felt surprisingly flat to me ಥ_ಥ

One person told me about the “royal fern” — its spores look like tiny flowers. They’re not actual blooms, but he opened my eyes to a sweeter, more romantic way of seeing them. Maybe I am too serious… and maybe as an artist I should let myself imagine a little more 🤍
