There’s a case for raising the age to 20–25 (brain maturity) and one for lowering it (young people feel policy impact more). It depends on how we define adulthood—16, 18, 21, or 25. I think 16 is too young, and 21 makes the most sense across the board (voting, drinking, drafts, crimes)
