Aviva (age 4¾) complains that she can’t sleep because her stuffies are keeping her awake asking her to do things. On the one hand, this is cute imaginative play. On the other, there are multiple horror movies that start this way, so… yeah.

Not well known: a program running in a terminal window can move/resize/miniaturize its window by printing certain control sequences defined by xterm.
Even less well known: a program running in a terminal can move/etc. _other_ terminal windows by printing those sequences to the TTY for that window!
