159 is the number to right if you have suspicious banking things going on - it asks you which bank you are with and it sends you directly to someone who will help, no waiting

@yaxu a student I was working with had this massive state of the art neural network model setup for exploring musical events, got a bit disheartened when he swapped in markov chains to debug something and they worked much better

Extremely tiny hexagonal yellow mimetite crystals in a similar galena rich rock from the same location.

What happens when seawater comes into contact with lead and arsenic - lovely!!

The UK approach is to split all your info across numerous agencies that can't talk to each other, which is why it's so much hassle doing everything and nothing works - the cost of less state oversight is hassle.

I once had (still have?) a Finnish state ID number that meant that when we moved house everything was altered automatically with zero effort - this felt spooky and wrong at the time, but also very convenient, but still wrong...

The reason the UK is historically opposed to ID cards when the rest of the EU has them is down to Napoleon, who was so into them the British naturally had to go the other way.

The other main problem is that my framework laptop USB power fuses seem to be on a hair trigger (I need to physically unplug the framework port thing to reset it).

This all runs standalone on a Pi Pico so not really a problem, just a pain when checking things.
